This cemetery is located in section 23, Centralia Twp., Marion Co., IL and is on land owned by Mr. & Mrs. Donald Miller. It is approximately 100 x 150 feet with the rows of graves in the north/south direction, and is also on a slight hill that runs from the SE comer to the center on the north. Many graves are not marked and some stones are missing while other are in good repair.
The first visit to this cerntery was on 31 Oct 1993 by the following: Yvonne Barrall, Lee Jones, Cathy Jones, Dorothy and Richard Jackson, and Jeffery Jackson. This was done in a snow storm, and lasted about 1 1/2 hours. I have been back four other times and on the last visit it was very overgrown and impossible to work. This fall we will return to see if any more information can be found.
Genealogical information was furnished by Yvonne Barrall, as well as names of persons buried there by Haussler Funeral Home records and family histories. These burials are noted by the statement, "From Haussler Records."
