Mrs. Martha E. Sargent, 81, former Centralian, died Wednesday at Hollywood, Fla. She was the wife of Donald Sargent. She was born at Odin, the daughter of Kasie and Nancy (Woodhres) Farthing. She moved from Centralia five years ago to Florida. Survivors are her husband, Donald; a son, Carl Richason of Hollywood Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Tom Shannon of St. Louis, Mo; three brothers, Grover Farthing of Shirley Ind. and Tom and Samuel, both of Odin; two sisters, Mrs. Alpha Tate of Odin; Mrs. Jessie Elder of Decatur; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Garnier and Sons Funeral Home, Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Sunday.
