Francis and Phebe Coleman Family I have come across an article about my great grandmother's sister Nellie May Coleman, in the article it states that as a child (around 1895) she was treated by a doctor in Sandoval, Illinois for worm spasm, and the prescription was Chloroform daily for a period of 6 days? When Nellie came out of this stupor she was brain damaged, the family moved to Pana, Il where she died in 1909, after being institutionalized and being kept at home in an iron cage.
