married Rebecca A. FOREACKERS (B 1837; died 1880 in Iuka, IL; they had
13 children. Basil METCALF (b 1797; d. 1863 in Cairo, IL; lived in
Marion County, IL) married Catherin Simmons and they had 8 children (I
am related to son Reuben (1825 - 1875) - he married Alvira J. Spartine
and they had 7 children. Richard METCALF (b 1871 in Iuka, d 1927 in
Indiana) he married Nancy Nevada McLEAN and they had 2 daughters -
Mabel, and Kathryn. George MERIDITH (b. 1810 in Ohio; d 1879 in Odin
Twsp.) married 3 times - Rachel COURSON, Ann Eliza HENRY, AND Lydia
DICKENS. Had 18 children total by 1st two wives. Harvey MERIDITH (b.
