I have copies of Miami County, Ohio Probate Court stating Joseph K. Clarkson (b. 1837; d. 1875?) and Mary E. Clarkson (b. 1858; d.1875?) owned a house and 3 lots in Vernon, Illinois around 1860-1890 which were deeded to their four sons, Charles, William, Louis and Maxon. I believe their grandfather (Mary's father), James Smith, may have became owner of the properties at the death of Joseph and Mary. Are there any records in Marion County regarding this property? I don't know what happened to Joseph and Mary. If they died in IL or Oh. Have been unable to locate any death notices or obituaries. I would appreciate any information anyone might have to share.
